Thank you so much for signing Maryland Peace Action on to the letter urging Maryland’s members of Congress to support a return to the Iran nuclear deal.
Building on the letter, I wanted to reach out to invite you and your organization to join grassroots groups from around the country at an important online panel discussion on this issue on Wed. March 31 from 2:30-3:30 pm ET. You can RSVP for the Zoom webinar here.
The panel, “The Iran Deal or No Deal,” features some of the leading national experts on the Iran Nuclear Deal including Trita Parsi (Quincy Institute), Barbara Slavin (Atlantic Council), Kelsey Davenport (Arms Control Association), and Peter Beinart (City University of New York). It will be moderated by Jamal Abdi of the National Iranian American Council. Please see the flyer attached for more details.
The National Iranian American Council has invited us to include this event in their “JCPOA Week of Action.” Our hope is that this virtual event can act as a springboard to motivate more individuals to not only take action, but mobilize their networks to do so as well, ultimately amplifying the impact that we can make.
