JOIN US FOR THE SEPT. 15-23, 2018 CAMPAIGN NONVIOLENCE NATIONAL WEEK OF ACTIONS!
Campaign Nonviolence is a long-term grassroots movement for a culture of peace and nonviolence free from war, poverty, racism,
We urge everyone to have a planning day this spring, to join our national conference calls beginning this summer (RSVP FOR THE JUNE 28 CALL HERE), to send out press releases and to send us updates. Also, remember to connect the dots by taking to the streets against racism, war, poverty and environmental destruction, and also for the coming of a new culture of nonviolence, with justice and peace.
In addition, we invite everyone to gather at the end of the week in Washington, D.C. for a two day Campaign Nonviolence National Convergence. We will gather Friday night, Sept. 21 at the Festival Center (1640 Columbia Rd., NW, Washington, D.C.) for an evening of reflection and sharing, and then the next morning, Sept. 22, we will gather at 9 a.m. at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Statue near the Lincoln Memorial for a rally, then walk in silence to the White House, where we will engage in nonviolent direct action. Please join us! Learn more here!
