Message from Raina Rippel (SWPA Environmental Health Project) to Tony Langbehn (MUPJ)

Dear Tony,

A new CDC Director means new public health priorities. With the change in leadership and major potential budget cuts, here’s our chance to support sound science.
Next week, we will send a list of signatures to CDC director Brenda Fitzgerald to tell her we need science that studies the health impacts of fracking and we need a National Fracking Health Risk Registry!
Fracking uses chemicals and compounds known to put people at risk and to cause real harm. But scientists lack the critical health data from affected areas that they need to study fracking and protect communities.
NOW is our FINAL chance to add as many signatures as possible to this petition to fund a National Fracking Health Risk Registry so we can receive the open, honest and reliable information such a registry will provide.
Thank you for standing up for science!
Sincerely,
Raina Rippel
Executive Director
SWPA Environmental Health Project
