| Fri Nov 12 – Sun Nov 14 – MD PPC 2nd Outreach Weekend – Please save the date and plan to join us for our 2nd MD PPC Outreach Weekend. We are building our ranks and need you to help us connect with as many impacted people as possible. This vital work has prevented evictions, built relationships with people in our communities around survival needs including food, COVID protections, and sharing the struggle for our human rights. While the pandemic continues and remains unpredictable, protections like increased unemployment benefits and a moratorium on evictions have ended – the PPC is not standing by. We are demanding systemic change to address the five evils – poverty, racism, the war economy, environmental devastation and the distorted moral narrative that blames the poor themselves for the increasing poverty and inequality so many of us experience.
