Sponsored by a grant from the Rotary Club of Baltimore, Little Friends for Peace sent Peace Coaches MJ Park and Kelly Stickney to cultivate a relationship with these students after school to learn what is Peace, who Peacemakers are, how to solve problems and resolve conflict, when to board the Peace Train, and how to celebrate Peace.We anticipate our growing partnership with the Baltimore Boys and Girls Club! LFFP in the International Day Celebration, where they said the Peace Pledge and sang songs! Celebration of the Achievements of the Vincentian Amigos at the Peace OasisThroughout the academic year, LFFP partnered
with the Vincentians Amigos to tutor newly arrived students! Each week, we worked to create a safe space for our students to check in with their social-emotional wellness and complete their schoolwork. In
celebration, the students and their families were welcomed to the Peace Oasis, where they played cooperative games, enjoyed delicious food, and planted a tree!
