There are three more projects open for BGE Customers, called Friendship Solar, White Marsh Solar, and Dogwood & Old Court Solar (in Baltimore)https://neighborhoodsun.solar/solarfarms/All of these projects offer you a discount off of what you are paying for dirty electricity through your utility. Prince George’s County Climate Action Plan has been released.It was open for public comment from Nov 1 – Dec 1, 2021 You can view the report and all of the public comments at:https://www.princegeorgescountymd.gov/3748/Climate-ChangeWe recently learned that the Dept of the Environmental (DoE) will be hosting a county council briefing on Thursday, Feb 17, 11am-12:30 pm. (We will keep you posted as we learn more details).We will all need to speak out to our County Council members to encourage them to “adopt and implement” the plan.Fortunately, the Greenbelt Advisory Committee on Environmental Sustainability (Green ACES) has asked the Greenbelt City Council to contact our County Council members, in support of the plan. So local advocacy has already begun.
