| LFFP is looking for volunteers to join us this fall at different program sites! On Mondays, we have 4 after-school Peace Clubs in Alexandria as well as a virtual tutoring program for hispanic youth at 7pm. On Tuesdays, we work with men experiencing homeless from 9am-12pm. On Wednesday’s, we are back in Alexandria offering 2 after-school Peace Clubs. On Thursdays, LFFP teaches Peace Class at a school in Brookland from 1:30-4:00pm. We end the week on Zoom, offering our Peace Academy to peace builders in Uganda on Friday mornings. Please email us at volunteer@lffp.org to learn more about each program! | LFFP offers peace circles and programs that provide adults and young adults the opportunity to explore their personal need for peace, to identify what prevents them from reaching peace, and to equip them with skills to overcome obstacles to inner and interpersonal peace. Trained staff members facilitate circles for individuals and communities through churches, neighborhood groups, community centers as well as established restorative programs. We are always happy to discuss our program offerings with you! |
