Please join the upcoming Greenbelt Climate Action Network meeting to be held by Zoom-this Weds., Nov. 11 from 7-9 pm.

Greenbelt Climate Action Network (GCAN) will be using its November meeting to continue to refine its priorities for the fall and winter, some focusing on community concerns on a variety of issues while others will be legislation, introduced during the 2021 Maryland General Assembly. Numerous organizations have approached GCAN to endorse and support their campaigns, but GCAN can only effectively work on three or four of these initiatives.

As happened during our October meeting, and now again during our November meeting, representatives of the various organizations will describe their campaigns and offer persuasive testimony on why GCAN and its members should put their energies behind these specific objectives. At the end of the meeting, attendees will “vote” for 5 of the 16 options.
